We at Republic of Thrift strive to create a thrift store experience like no other! Look for our clean, organized space with a focus on design and color. We have creative displays and sized clothing racks for your convenience.
Prices
Our aim is to offer the best thrifting value and selection in Sonoma Valley. We believe we achieve this by knowing our market. We regularly visit other stores both locally and regionally to ensure our prices stay competitive. We don't typically barter or bargain, but instead focus our energy one our regular monthly sale.
2026 Sale Schedule (first Friday, Saturday & Sunday of each month, unless noted otherwise below)
Our regular sale takes place on the first Friday, Saturday & Sunday of each month. The dates may vary if it falls over a major holiday, so please take note below. We offer a 30% discount on all merchandise in the store, excluding holiday items (Halloween, Christmas). However, that varies and is noted below.

Closed Day(s) after the Sale…
Closed the Monday after our sale (or more-see below), allowing us to clean, restock and work on special projects in the store. All making your shopping experience even better. Note: if a holiday takes place on the Monday after sale, we will then be closed Tuesday for restocking, reopening on Wednesday.
INSIDER TIP: The Tuesday following this day always brings a lot of "in the know" customers - first dibs at new merchandise is enticing! Our monthly sale helps keep our prices "in check" and keeps our merchandise fresh and exciting for our customers. That's our goal. That and earning money for our public schools, of course!
Other Closed Days
In February, we close two days following our sale. And in August we close for the week following our sale. This allows us to do extra deep cleaning and get bigger projects done as needed. Improving the store is something we are always doing.
In addition to our "Monday closed day" after our monthly sale, we close for major holidays and some minor holidays. We have children in school and sometimes due to staffing need to take off more obscure holidays. Check social media for the most up to date information!
